Pam Deichmann is the chief of the Center for Acute Disease Epidemiology at the Iowa Department of Public Health. She has an undergraduate degree in nursing and a graduate degree in public health. She has worked in the health services field for over 25 years, and brings both a local and state perspective to disease outbreak management.
