Mary Gilchrist, PhD, Institute of Medicine Consensus Advisory Committee
Mary Gilchrist is a member of the Institute of Medicine Consensus Advisory Committee to evaluate the US Department of Defense Global Emerging Infections Surveillance and Response System for its efficacy to detect influenza emergence. She is also a member of the Committee on Election to Fellowship of the American Academy of Microbiology and the ASPH Preparedness Advisory Committee. She earned her BA at the University of Iowa and her M.S. and Ph.D from the University of Illinois.
