Neal Holtan, MD, MPH, MA, Medical Director, Minnesota Institute of Public Health
Neal Holtan serves as director of healthcare practice for Partnership Continuum, Inc., a consulting firm in Minneapolis. He is also the medical director of the Minnesota Institute of Public Health and the Saint Paul-Ramsey County Department of Public Health. He graduated from the University of Iowa College of Medicine and completed a residency in internal medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. Before going into practice, he received a master's degree from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. For more than 20 years he practiced internal medicine in St. Paul. For the past 10 years, he has specialized in preventive medicine in private practice. In 1998, he received a Bush Medical Fellowship to study the history of medicine at the University of Minnesota, where he is a PhD candidate.
