Kari Swenson, Project Coordinator, American Lung Association, Central Iowa Tobacco-free Partnership Coalition
Kari Swenson is a project coordinator for the Central Iowa Tobacco-free Partnership, a grant-funded project with the American Lung Association. She was part of the tobacco-free campus initiative for Wesley Retirement Services in July 2006. She is also the co-chair of the Central Iowa Tobacco-free Partnership, a community coalition working to reduce death and disease caused by tobacco-use and exposure to second-hand smoke in Central Iowa. She is working on her MS in health promotion from Nebraska Methodist College.
