Greg Paris, CEO, Monroe County Hospital
For the past 13 years, Greg Paris has served as CEO at Monroe County Hospital in Albia, Iowa. He moved from the staff level at several rural Iowa Hospitals to becoming CFO and CEO at Story City Memorial Hospital from 1990-1994 and became CEO at Monroe County in 1994. He received his bachelor's degree from Iowa State University and his master's from Des Moines University. Over the past six years, he has led a culture transformation that has led to employee satisfaction, patient satisfaction, and clinical outcomes that are among the best in the country. He has been asked to speak nationally on the subject, and as a result, more than 50 health care organizations across the United States have visited Albia to learn from the hospital's success.
