Shannon Rudolph, BA, MA, State Health Alliance Director and Cultural Health Director, American Heart Association/American Stroke Association
Shannon Rudolph is a Waterloo native with 10 years of experience in the field of health promotion. While earning a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, she earned her Global Health Certificate for her work with Global Health Corps providing health education to diverse and underserved populations, both locally and abroad in St. Lucia, West Indies. While beginning her career at Mayo Clinic in Rochester developing patient education for their 17 clinics of cardiology, she realized her passion for heart disease and stroke education. In 2002, she joined the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association and is currently serving two roles within the organization as state Health Alliance director and cultural health director for the State of Iowa.
