Lee Thielen, MPA, Executive Director, Colorado Association of Local Public Health Officials

Lee Thielen is a consultant on public health issues, especially workforce and infrastructure initiatives. She is the executive director of the Colorado Association of Local Public Health Officials. She also serves as chair of the Multi-State Learning Collaborative on Performance and Capacity Assessment or Accreditation of Public Health Departments and was a member of the Exploring Accreditation Steering Committee. She is an elected board member to the Health District of Northern Larimer County, a member of the Larimer County Board of Health and chairs the grants committee of the Medical Center of the Rockies Foundation. She serves on the Larimer County EMS Advisory Task Force and the Colorado Foundation for Public Health and the Environment. She has a bachelor's degree in international economics from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and a master's degree in public administration from the University of Colorado.
