Nancy Williams, MD, Professor, Department of Psychiatry, University of Iowa
Dr. Williams is an associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry and a faculty member of the newly formed Division of Community Psychiatry at the University of Iowa. She provides in-home services to persons with serious and persistent mental illness through her work with the assertive community treatment team, IMPACT, and is also helping to develop a training site for senior psychiatry residents at the MidEastern Iowa Community Mental Health Center. She is an active member in the Iowa Psychiatric Society, concerned with the psychiatric workforce shortage, and she is the editor of the Iowa Psychiatric Society newsletter.
